Travel agents now have access to extended hotel information in Amadeus Bistro Portal. The new content provided by GIATA offers travel agents further hotel photos, detailed descriptions, and amenities directly from the hoteliers in addition to tour operator information.

With the introduction of a new feature, travel agents can now access the content provided by hoteliers under the new ‘Hotel Info’ tab. Meanwhile, the images and descriptions provided by the tour operators can be found under the ‘Tour operator information’ tab. This improves the travel consultancy and makes it easier to find suitable hotels. The information provided by the hoteliers is being continuously expanded. Hoteliers upload all details to a central platform, ensuring that they are consistent and up-to-date.

“We are delighted with the latest development in our partnership with Amadeus. This collaboration ensures that travel agents have access to comprehensive and up-to-date hotel information. More accurate data means time savings and greater efficiency in travel planning,” says Mathis Boldt, CEO at GIATA.

“Hotel descriptions and especially pictures are increasingly important for travellers when choosing the best hotel. We are delighted to make the consultancy process for travel agency staff not only more efficient but also simpler thanks to the new descriptions directly from the hotelier,” says Dr Oliver Rengelshausen, Managing Director of Amadeus in Bad Homburg.

Amadeus has activated this function centrally for all Amadeus Bistro Portal users.
