La Victoria Roundabout Revamped After €600,000 Upgrade in Tenerife

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 29th August (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Tenerife Island Council has finalised the second phase of the development works at the La Victoria de Acentejo roundabout.

The project, which involved an investment of approximately 600,000 euros, has been executed at the intersection of the TF-217 with the TF-5 motorway and includes three branches designed to facilitate vehicle movement.

The Councillor for Roads, Dámaso Arteaga, stated in a release that this is a “significant initiative” comprising the establishment of a roundabout that connects La Victoria with the TF-5 along with three additional branches to enhance vehicle flow.

“We are addressing a road that experiences a traffic density of 3,500 vehicles daily and is heavily frequented,” he remarked.

The construction of the roundabout – which spans approximately 30 metres in diameter – has been coordinated with La Victoria Town Council and concludes with enhancements to the service roads, footpaths, and landscaping, thereby improving road safety and the aesthetic surroundings of the area.
