STB Acting Chief Executive Officer Yusfida Hj Khalid said this joint marketing campaign is a catalyst to better reach out for travellers from the UK to know about Sarawak’s tourism offerings and will make it easier for them to embark on their journey to Sarawak.

“Travellers across the globe today are increasingly inclined towards eco-friendly destinations with sustainability at heart so Sarawak, with its rich biodiversity, unique culture, and commitment to sustainable tourism, perfectly fits the bill,” she said.

“STB’s participation in World Travel Market (WTM) London 2023 is one of the keys to further enhance our strategies to reach out to the UK market and we hope this collaboration with Malaysia Airlines will help us achieve our target of more than 30,000 visitor arrivals from the UK in 2024,” she added.
