Located in the picturesque village of Fontmell Magna, which has a dark sky designation and is within an Area of Outstanding Beauty, Homemead Hut offers a wonderful setting for a truly special glamping experience. Sitting proudly within a four acre meadow, and with glorious uninterrupted views of the Fontmell Downs, your holiday home provides a wonderful lakeside retreat for a memorable couples break.
The hut is air-conditioned and beautifully prepared with a sumptuous king-size bed, complete with Emma mattress, Egyptian cotton sheets and cushions, and a window which offers stunning views whilst you enjoy your morning coffee in bed. The kitchen area has a sink, fridge-freezer, induction hob and kettle, and all you will need for preparing tasty treats which can be enjoyed sitting at the breakfast bar with stools whilst watching the wildlife on the lake. There is also upholstered bench style seating, and a selection of games provided beneath for your enjoyment.
In true luxury glamping style, you will find a fully fitted shower room attached to the rear of the hut, with a walk-in shower enclosure, sink and flushable WC, and sensor lighting will guide you.
Outside features a raised decked area with patio chairs and low table which invite you to enjoy the incredible views whilst surveying the lake, and to watch the resident small herd of sheep that stroll by from time to time, or perhaps spot a visiting otter or the geese. Breakfast or dinner can be cooked alfresco on the barbecue, and eaten on the picnic bench or when sitting at the table and chairs facing the lake. Evenings can be enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, toasting marshmallows wrapped up in a cosy blanket, and listening to the sounds of the abundant nature all around, whilst gazing at the stars.
This unique retreat offers all one could wish for truly magical stay.
