Rolling countryside, ancient limestone villages and chocolate-box houses; the Cotswolds is the picture of quintessential England. On this Cotswolds short break, we’ll meander through cobbled streets lined with Tudor thatched cottages, see beautiful Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, and uncover centuries’ worth of history at grand Sudeley Castle. We’ll stay close to Stratford-upon-Avon. Once home to William Shakespeare, we’ll see reminders of his life and work as we stroll through the city, enjoy a river cruise and step inside the picturesque childhood cottage of his wife, Anne Hathaway.
